News and views on what matters to me: mindfulness, leadership, public relations, marketing, social media, pop culture and every now and then I will surprise you with something else.
When someone comes out of retirement for the fourth time, we tend to think, Brett Favre is back to playing football. Believe it or not, there is a man out there that loves serving his country so much that he is back to his job at 79, making him the oldest active duty solider out there. As a physician, he is coming back to active duty for the fourth time because he feels that men and women in uniform need him. Col. It is always empowering to hear stories such as this one of men and women that dedicate their lives to public service.
